i miss Ukraine

well, i hardly use this thing anymore but i thought i'd update.

Ukraine was awesome!

it was my only mission trip i've ever taken so i cant compare it with any other mission trips but it was by far the most amazing thing i have ever experienced! i miss it so much and hopefully one day me and the rest of my class will be able to go back! everything over there is awesome: the people(so friendly!) and the food(yummy juice and borsche!)

if i could pick one thing to do again, the mission trip to Kirovograd, Ukraine would be IT!

so 2 days it was 60 degrees and it was awesome! i got to open the window in my room to let fresh air in and were short sleeves and i got to take my time walking home from my bus stop becuz it wasnt windy or frigid....it was great!

.....and now when i look out my window I see close to a foot of snow!!! ah well, thats the way things go in the northeast i suppose...i just hope it will melt quickly

UKRAINE UPDATE: we reached our money goal but we could always use more money....in a week and six days me and my class mates will be flying over to Ukraine! woot!! PLEASE keep us in your prayers...i know i'll need plenty!

oh yeah.............Happy St. Patrick's Day!!! 

leaving for Ukraine on March 30th

so far i have $300 for myself but i think the support letters are going to be really helpful

pray for me and my class...there are only 5 of us going but the cool thing is that we'll all be best friends with the people in steve's church by the end of the trip! it's going to be great!

merry christmas, happy new year, and happy any-other-holidays-i-forgot-to-mention! sorry that its been awhile...

been busy with basketball, school, and church stuff...

speaking of, the lady warriors are 6-2 and there's a game tonight against valley heights that hopefully we'll win. the only bummer is that i sprained my ankle so im not gonna be playing for awhile. it just doesn't feel strong enough to me and i'm afraid i'll hurt it if i start playing again...

the holidays were busy and stressful, but in the end i realized how enjoyable it was...

fundraising is still in progress for mission trip: ukraine and hopefully we'll get our needed expenses for the trip

overall i am doing pretty good and enjoying my senior year...
